The ladder does not fit properly to the upper cage and also needs wooden ridges added to help guinea pigs up and down..At the moment it's like a slide instead of a ladder/ramp.
The cage itself is hard to clean as has little openings..Thinking of selling it and getting a different one now.
Good but does need 2 people to build, think ladder to steep for my gineaupigs, but rabbit is happy climbing up.Came with no instructions just a picture.
Easy to build, a massive cage plenty of room for my 2 guinea pigs, stair bit not very secure but they manage to get up and down fine
This item is VERY strong and stable. It is also a great size and allows our bunny to have space to move around when locked in a night. There are a few points to be aware of: The sleeping areas are small so are only suitable for a guinea pig or a very small rabbit/ baby. We have a small mini lop and she struggled to get in and be comfortable. We had to use a larger house from a previous cage. The cage opening on the lower unit allows the bunny/ guinea pig to hop in and out however they can get their feet trapped on the grill which hinges out. We have bent the bars to remove this door during the day. There are no instructions for assembly, only a poor quality part assembled graphic. This needs addressing to help customers. It shouldn't be too difficult to produce a step by step guide (similar to what you'd get from a certain Swedish furniture store).
This is a great value product, super sturdy and a good price. the only set back is the ramp from one level to the next is too steep for my older guinea pigs. There is a great amount of room though on each level for them to have space to run and popcorn.
